Copper Tier Ticket
Price : US $199

Included in your ticket:

Auditorium Seating
Copper tier seats will be immediately behind the Silver tier. Seating within the Copper tier block will be unassigned.

Photo Sessions
Copper tier ticket holders will be given access to the photo session room immediately after the Silver tickets have been through.

Entry into the Friday and Saturday photo sessions is included in all ticket types, but the actual photo ops with actors will be at an additional cost. Prices for these will be posted separately. We will be supplying 10"x8" full colour prints.

Please note the priority photo op access is for the Friday and Saturday sessions only and not the sessions on Sunday. Tickets to the Sunday photos will be pre-sold during the event for all ticket type holders to a set number agreed with the guests, then opened up to the remainder of the audience if time permits. We will be working to a strict time constraint during the Sunday photo ops.

Autograph Session
Ticket includes entry to the autograph room but actual autographs are extra and are payable in cash at each guests' table. Prices to be released nearer the time.

Banquet
Copper tier tickets are not included in the draw for a seat at a Platinum table during the banquet. However Copper ticket holders may still purchase the optional extra banquet ticket should they wish to attend the banquet (while seats are available).

Silver Tier Ticket

There will be TWO seats available for Silver ticket holders. You must already have purchased the optional extra banquet ticket at the time the draw is made. The upgrades will be for the named ticket holders only so if you do not wish to be apart from other members of your party during the banquet you should let us know and the seat will be redrawn.

Breakfast Draw
We will be holding a draw from the Silver tier tickets for TWO ticket holders to join the actor breakfast buffet on ONE morning of the convention. The winners will be notified of the day and time. Only the named ticket holders on our records may attend the breakfast. The group breakfast will take place in Harold's Bistro & Bar within the hotel complex and will consist of their Deluxe Buffet Breakfast.

Currently this includes the following, though changes may be made between now and the event:
Fresh orange juice
Croissants, Danish pastries, muffins, assorted scones, breakfast loaf
Selection of cereals, granola, dried fruits
Fresh seasonal fruit, cottage cheese, fruit yoghurt, cheese, cold cuts
Fresh scrambled eggs, smoked maple-cured bacon, country sausage, home-fried potato, steel-cut oatmeal
Chef's choice of pancake or French toast or Belgian waffles with maple syrup
Chicken congee, vegetarian chow mein noodles
Freshly brewed coffee, selection of teas
Fresh eggs made to order - please ask your server
Any additional drinks or food not included in the buffet menu will be at the individual’s expense. Likewise any tips and gratuities are at your discretion and are not included in the package.

Gold Tier Ticket

We are introducing our own Gatecon currency for the first time in 2018. They can only be used by Platinum and Gold tier ticket holders, cannot be exchanged, swapped, passed on to someone else or cashed in. They are to be used in exchange for photo ops only up to the value indicated. No change will be given but they can be added to (CAD $) and used as part-payment for photo ops. They cannot be used for merchandise, autographs or any other purchase and have no monetary value beyond the photo sessions.Gatecoins will need to be handed in when using them but should you want to keep them as a memento then you agree to having a small stamp placed on the reverse to cancel it.

PLEASE NOTE: Gatecoins are valid for the majority of the Friday and Saturday photo sessions but cannot be used during the session on the Sunday nor for Teryl's photos ops (her photo day tbc)


Banquet Draw

Any specific dietary requirements will be obtained once the draw has been made. This is an exclusive chance to relax with the guests during one of their few periods of down time.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Auditorium Seating
Only Platinum tier ticket holders and our guests will be allowed to use the front row during panels. Seats in the front row will be assigned in the order purchases are received, starting at the middle of the row and working out to the edges. All other ticket tiers will be unassigned seating within the tiered blocks. Any vacant seats in the front row will be set aside for any Gatecon guest who may want to watch a panel so you could find yourself sitting next to an actor.
Convention Pin
All Platinum tier ticket holders will receive a special, limited-edition Platinum-design convention pin in metal, as illustrated

Registration
Platinum and Gold ticket holders will have their own registration table.

Priority Access
Access to the panels and photo sessions will be via ticket tier lanes outside the room. You will need to be in the correct lane for your ticket type. Volunteers will be on hand to assist.

Photo Sessions
Entry into the Friday and Saturday photo sessions is included in all ticket types, but the actual photo ops with actors will be at an additional cost. Prices for these will be posted separately. We will be supplying 10"x8" full colour prints.

Your Platinum tier ticket will include entry to the banquet and your meal from the menu choices provided once the menu has been decided with the hotel. We will contact you for that. You will be sitting at special Platinum Tables with actor/s and if you are purchasing more than one Platinum tier ticket we will endeavour to seat all members of your party at the same table. We cannot guarantee sitting you with friends who have made separate purchases. We cannot guarantee which actor you will sit with and cannot take requests for specific actors.

Breakfast
Your Platinum tier ticket will include a group breakfast (max 10 people per group) with an actor on ONE morning during the convention. You will be assigned a day and time when your ticket is issued. If you are purchasing more than one Platinum ticket we will try to assign you seats for the same morning. The group breakfast will take place in Harold's Bistro & Bar within the hotel complex and will consist of their Deluxe Buffet Breakfast.

Group Photo
This will be taken on stage over the course of the event, on either the Friday or the Saturday. The exact time will be advised in advance though may be subject to change at short notice. The photograph will comprise small groups of FIVE Platinum tier ticket holders at a time photographed with whichever guests are present and available at the time. Your copy of the photograph will be made available for collection from the Gatecon table and can be used as your personal item for signing at the autograph session if you so wish. Please note: at this stage we do not know which (if any) guests will sign a personal item for free.

If not already included in your ticket tier the banquet must be purchased separately. Banquet tickets will go on sale same day as the event tickets.

Despite our overall costs going up we have decided to keep the banquet tickets at the 2016 prices

Mixed green salad – selection of baby lettuce, grape tomatoes, sun dried cranberries, apple chips, served with maple vinaigrette

Helpful Hint

If you are planning to buy tickets for a group, (there are limits on the number of tickets you can purchase at any one time - these numbers will be given out as part of the payment information in a couple of days), please prepare in advance for your purchase/s by collecting the full name, (real name not screen name, nickname or alias), and email address for every person you are buying on behalf of. Have them typed up and open so you can just copy and paste when you go through the purchase process - any incorrect names and emails may delay us assigning tickets to you.

The new member's area is due to go live today so please make sure everyone you are buying for has created an account there before making your purchase. Click on the My Gatecon tab at the top of the homepage to create your new account.

Please also note that the new Member's Area for 2018 requires everyone to create a new account. Your previous member area accounts will no longer work.

We will also be setting up a new mailing list for 2018 for ticket holders, although you may see one or two coming from the old mailing list in the meantime.

Payment Information

This time we are changing the way tickets will be sold, so we are giving you advance notice of the date and time they will be available.

Saturday 26th August 2017 at 8pm GMT/UTC (9pm BST check your local time)

This will allow those that wish to pay by other means the time to get organised.

We will also be offering a payment plan to spread the cost over 3 or 6 months.

We are offering Transferwise in addition to Paypal and are reducing the event ticket entry price by $10 if you pay by electronic transfer or via Transferwise.*

We now have a US bank account and can receive electronic payments and domestic transfers directly from most US bank accounts.

For non US currencies we have been using Transferwise for our currency exchanges. We have found them to be generally more competitive to send money than Paypal.

Payment by on-line electronic transfer, Transferwise and e-Cheques are not seen as priority payment methods and can take days rather than hours to be processed through the system. We have no control over this inbuilt delay. So to accommodate those who may wish to pay by these methods we have changed the way the tickets are allocated and are allowing 14 days for the payment to reach us.

When you place your order for ticket/s you will be able to pay by Paypal as before or by electronic transfer/Transferwise. The tickets will be allocated in the order in which the request has been received. You will be given a reference code and your order will be reserved for you for up to 14 days. This does not mean you pay in 14 days but you pay upon receipt of your ticket order acknowledgement email and your payment, either the full amount or the first instalment of a payment plan has up to 14 days to reach our bank . The ticket/s will become valid when we have payment in full and you will receive confirmation by email. Should we not receive a payment within 10 days we will contact you and after 14 days we may release the tickets for re-sale.

So to recap, when the tickets go on sale you will be able to order your tickets on the website, and will then receive an order reference that will hold your ticket/s for 14 days or until a payment is received. When we have received your full payment you will receive a confirmation email.
