Replicator

Our new Replicator Digital Ticket is aimed at those people who are unable to be with us in person at The Celebration, but who would still like to be able to experience some of the fun and atmosphere of the world’s longest-running Stargate convention.

You will get access via the Gatecon website to over 14 hours of live on-stage footage direct from The Celebration Vancouver, featuring a whole range of cast and crew from the franchise. See our guest page to view our incredible line-up. Once again Gatecon is bringing you the biggest gathering anywhere in the world of actors, producers, directors, writers, designers and more from the Stargate world.

For those people who have purchased convention tickets but are no longer able to attend, and who have been unsuccessful in finding a buyer - we are gifting to you the Replicator ticket, and we hope you will be able to join us via livestream.

For those people coming to Gatecon with full convention tickets, you too will be gifted the Replicator as an add-on to your existing ticket. That way you will still be able to see what is going on on-stage while you are lining up for your Photo Ops etc.

Please note the Gatecon Replicator ticket does not include any of the Dial the Gatecon panels as those will be aired via Dial the Gate. Also not included is The Companion AI table read.

Day Passes

We have a limited number of Day Passes available for the Friday, Saturday and Sunday, priced at US$100. Holders of a Day Pass will have access to all the on-stage panels taking place on their chosen day/s, with seating in the designated Day Pass Row M, along with the opportunity to purchase photo or auto ops with the guests who are doing them on each particular day. You will also have access to the dealer room and the large Empire Movie Memorabilia Stargate exhibition.

The Day Pass does not allow entry to the Friday banquet, but holders are welcome to come later in the evening for the Make-a-Wish Charity Auction while Saturday holders may attend the second half of the charity auction and the Costume Designer panel on Saturday evening. There are no evening Events for Day Passes on the Sunday.

Before purchasing a Day Pass check out the Celebration Schedule to see when your favourite guests are appearing. Registration for Day Passes will take place from 8.30-9am on the chosen day where you will collect your wristband.

Auditorium Seating
Only Ancients tier ticket holders and our guests will be allowed to use the FRONT row during panels. Seats will be assigned in the order purchases are received, starting at the middle of the row and working out to the edges. Any wheelchair/accessibility bookings will be prioritised for seats on the outside edge of rows. Vacant seats in the front row will be set aside for any Gatecon guest who may want to watch a panel so you could find yourself sitting next to an actor.

All Ancients tier ticket holders will receive a special, limited-edition Ancients-design convention pin in metal, as illustrated. Please note - image subject to change.

Teryl Rothery Photo
Your Ancients ticket includes a photo op taken with Teryl Rothery ** (unsigned). This will be a 10"x8" full colour print.

Teryl Rothery Autograph
Your Ancients ticket includes one Teryl Rothery ** autographed item. This can be your free photo or a personal item. Ancients ticket holders will need to arrive at the assigned room before the 15 minutes private autograph session begins in order to obtain their free autograph.

Registration
Ancients ticket holders will have their own designated registration table.

Priority Access
Access to the panels and photo sessions will be via ticket tier lanes outside the room. You will need to be in the correct lane for your ticket type. Volunteers will be on hand to assist.

Photo Sessions
Entry into the main photo sessions is included in all ticket types, but the actual Photo Ops with actors will be at an additional cost. Prices for these will be posted separately. We will be supplying 10"x8" full colour prints.

Please note the priority photo op access is for the main sessions only and not any special extra sessions that may be announced. Tickets to any special Photo Ops will be pre-sold then opened up to the remainder of the audience if time permits. We will be working to a strict time constraint during any special photo ops.

Private Autograph Session
The private session will take place for all Ancients and Furling tier ticket holders fifteen minutes before the general doors open. During this time you will be able to make a start on your autograph collecting.

VIP Meet and Greet
Ancients ticket holders (front row only) will have a private meet and greet with Teryl Rothery ** lasting approximately 10 minutes as part of their ticket.

Charity Banquet Ticket
Your Ancients tier ticket will include entry to the banquet and your meal from the menu choices provided once the menu has been decided with the hotel. We will contact you for that. You will be sitting at special Ancients Tables with actor/s * and if you are purchasing more than one Ancients tier ticket we will endeavour to seat all members of your party at the same table. We cannot guarantee sitting you with friends who have made separate purchases. We cannot guarantee which actor you will sit with and cannot take requests for specific actors.

Please note, the charity auction will take place immediately after the banquet. It should also be noted that a percentage of every banquet ticket sale will be donated to our chosen charity.

Your Ancients tier ticket will include a group breakfast (max 10 people per group) with an actor on ONE morning during the convention. You will be assigned a day and time when your ticket is issued. If you are purchasing more than one Ancients ticket we will try to assign you seats for the same morning. The group breakfast will take place in Harold's Bistro & Bar within the hotel complex and will consist of their Deluxe Buffet Breakfast. Currently this includes the following, though changes may be made between now and the event:
  • Fresh orange juice
  • Croissants, Danish pastries, muffins, assorted scones, breakfast loaf
  • Selection of cereals, granola, dried fruits
  • Fresh seasonal fruit, cottage cheese, fruit yoghurt, cheese, cold cuts

Group Photo
This will be taken on stage over the course of the event. The exact time will be advised in advance though may be subject to change at short notice. The photograph will comprise the row photographed with whichever guests are present and available at the time. Your copy of the photograph will be made available for collection from the Gatecon table and can be used as your personal item for signing at the autograph session if you so wish. We will be holding a draw from the Asgard ticket holders for a chance to win an upgrade to a seat at a Furling table during the banquet. There will be FOUR seats available for Asgard ticket holders. The upgrades will be for the named ticket holders only so if you do not wish to be apart from other members of your party during the banquet you should let us know and the seat will be redrawn. Please note, in order to participate in the draw you must have first purchased a banquet ticket.

Breakfast Draw NOW CLOSED
We will be holding a draw from the Asgard tier tickets for TWO ticket holders to join the actor breakfast buffet on ONE morning of the convention. The winners will be notified of the day and time. Despite our overall costs going up we have decided to keep the banquet tickets at the 2016 prices

The banquet will follow our main format of a choice of main courses with set starters and desserts, plus, of course, tea or coffee. We anticipate a choice between beef, chicken, fish and vegetarian. The menu will be published as soon as it has been finalised.

Please make sure you indicate special dietary needs (i.e. gluten free, diabetic) and pertinent allergies. The hotel Chef will prepare a suitable offering based on the other selections. The hotel is unable to cater for individual dislikes so kindly restrict yourselves to specific diets, allergies and intolerances. A vegan option will be available.

It should be noted that the charity auction will follow directly after the banquet. While all are welcome to come along after the meal should they not have a banquet ticket seating will be very limited.
